How long has DI been going on?
This is our INAUGURAL YEAR but we have been producing events for over 40 years! We are the group who produced the Fargo PopExpo (with guests like Erik Estrada, Dirk Benedict and Barry Williams), the Fargo Fantastic Film Festival (23 years), FM Comic-Con (15 years) and ValleyCon (49 years!). DESTINATION IMAGINARIUM is our re-entry into it after a brief retirement (literally was asked/begged to come back by vendors and attendees!) but this time in a more broadly appealing event for everyone!
What is your approach to the show?
Bringing an event that is not just a vendor show... there will be panels, workshops and appearances by guests as well as activities for all.. crafter workshops, games, artist workshops, costume contests and much more! Also, keeping admission and vendor fees as low as possible to welcome in the biggest crowd.
How do I get a vendor spot?
Easy! Click on the link for red river science fiction (our parent Non-Profit) and select what kind of spot you want.. pay for that and then email us with your ideal pick for placement. Caveat.. we may shift some floor plan due to guest arrangements but you will get as good or better spots!
